Description

Independent British sports car manufacturer XCS Designs has announced the date for its 2023 Open Day at its impressive Saffron Walden HQ to allow enthusiasts and prospective customers the chance to have a look at its latest models and glimpse behind the scenes at the factory. That date is Sunday the 11thJune, 2023.

As with previous events, all the company’s demonstration and development models will be on display, with passenger rides available in both the new Dieci and 427 demo cars. Guests will also be able to tour the factory and see the latest chassis, paint and trim options that the firm offers on its bespoke cars – as well as perusing the chassis and fibreglass ‘shops to marvel at how the cars are lovingly put together.

Naturally, all cars are welcome to attend, but those arriving in a kit or classic will be parked in the VIP enclosure to create a mini ‘show within a show’ and to allow guests to admire each other’s machines. Boss Harvey Rice and his talented team will also be on site to answer any technical or sales questions, as well as offering hints and tips to those midway through their own XCS build.

TV presenter and XCS ambassador Paul Cowland will also be in attendance, meeting and greeting any Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars fans present as well as offering advice on the best way to spec and tailor the perfect 427 or Dieci build.

Commenting on this year’s event, Rice said, ‘We’re delighted to be hosting our third open day at XCS and look forward to welcoming both old and new friends to our factory. We’ve chosen a date in June to hopefully give us all great weather and we’re very excited about showing our latest models to our guests.’

The 2023 XCS Designs Open day will run from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 11th June. Refreshments and artisan food vendors will also be on site.
