Description

Always one of the highlights of the Wiscombe Park calendar when we are treated to the delights of race cars from the very earliest days of motorsport.

There is a long association with Wiscombe Park and the VSCC that has its foundations with Major Chichester and Major Lambton who established the venue in 1958. The first dedicated VSCC event was held on the hill in 1983 and has been held every year since.

To be eligible for this event, cars must have been constructed before 1931, or, in certain cases, before 1961. You will see famous marques like Austin, Riley, Frazer Nash, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo and Bentley. There will also be a selection of bespoke “specials” – lightweight chassis built specifically to go fast up hills – every car being unique.

This event is Round 2 of the VSCC Speed Championship.
