We hope you are looking forward to a day in Skegness for our July Mini Meet, which is this coming Sunday 14th July! 😊

We haven’t been to Skeg as a club before so it will be great to go somewhere different.  I hope to have quite a few of you join us so we can get lots of Mini photos plus a Mini convoy is great fun.

1) Firstly we will meet at Sutterton McDonalds behind what used to be V-ATE at Sutterton roundabout PE20 2LF (where the A16 and A17 cross) at around 9.45am so we can leave there at 10am.

2) We will then meet anyone from the Boston area on Rochford Tower Lane on the road outside Boston Bowl at 10.20.

Those of us coming from Sutterton Roundabout will be approaching the Bowling Alley so it is on our right hand side. From there, we will turn onto Wainfleet Road/A52 and be on our way. 

For anyone meeting us in Skegness, we will park on the Beach Car Park (there’s a map in the photos) at the end of Tower Esplanade PE25 3HH (Clock tower) 

This meet is also open to members of Old Skool Cruisers and they have always welcomed us with opened arms to their meets and so it’s time to return the gesture. Any cars from OSC are more than welcome. 🤗 

Genas (my) number is 07 4646 36 617 but not whilst driving!! Although I will have a two-way radio set on channel 1 which will be switched on during the journey. 

It may be fun to get photos of our cars with the Skeg Vegas sign (What3words ///starters.remainder.jingles )

Plus, if anyone feels upto it, there is a great bit of beach just above Anderby which is known as Huttoft car terrace.  Absolutely nothing to do there apart from play beach games, chillax and photograph our cars on a safe beach.

I will post up the price of parking both in Skeg and at Huttoft as soon as I know.

If the weather is dismal, I will ask members for ideas for a back-up plan. 👍🏼
