Members asked us about having a weekday meet, one they could attend after work through the light summer evenings so throughout British Summer Time we will be meeting at Boston Bowling Alley, Rochford Tower Lane, Boston PE21 9RH from 18:00- 20:30.  

The bowling lanes will be open, as will the bar and Sliders diner. The bowl is a great place to meet so as to look at cars, sit down and have a chat. It also gives us the perfect excuse for a weekday run out in our Minis.

🎳 BOSTON BOWL 18:00 – 20:30 on the last Thursday of each month until the end of September. 

Boston Bowl hold their own “car nights” on those dates which we attend.

Depending on the popularity of meeting at Boston Bowl, will help us SLMOC volunteers decide whether to run this throughout the winter months. We shall just see how it goes.  Once the Bowl’s car nights end, it will change as to who visits there. I am sure that we could find a quiet corner somewhere where we can hold fun trivia quizzes, maybe slmoc bingo or even games of Bingo or other board games without getting and weird looks we would get in a pub. We could even go ten pin bowling 🎳 How about that? 😂😂😂 Whatever we do, it will still get us out to meet with friends.  It is something for you members to think about.  If we buy our drinks etc whilst there, I can’t see any objection.
