1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CarEvents.com websites, mobile applications, and all associated features, services, and content (together, the “Service”). Throughout, we refer to the combined ecosystem as the CarEvents.com Services (powered by DriveLife).

1.2 In the United States and Canada, the Service is operated by CarEvents.com LLC (“CarEvents.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For correspondence in the U.S., our mailing address is: 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, Sussex County. Telephone: +1 302 440 3699. Email: info@carevents.com.

1.3 CarEvents.com provides an online discovery and ticketing facilitation platform. Unless stated otherwise, we do not organize or operate events. Tickets are listed and fulfilled by independent event organizers, venues, and promoters (“Event Partners”).

1.4 These Terms work in conjunction with our Refund & Exchange Policy and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to all applicable terms.

1.5 Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

2. Scope of Service – Website and Mobile Application

2.1 The Service includes the CarEvents.com website and the official mobile application (“DriveLife App”). The DriveLife App provides mobile access to similar functionality and the same user network as the CarEvents.com platform.

2.2 Certain features or services within the App may be limited, unavailable, or adapted for regional use in the United States or Canada during ongoing rollout phases. Such regional differences do not affect the enforceability or overall scope of these Terms.

2.3 References in these Terms to “we,” “us,” or “our” include both Car Events Ltd (UK) and CarEvents.com LLC (USA) where applicable to the combined ecosystem. References to “you” or “user” apply equally to anyone accessing the Service via the website or the DriveLife App.

3. Your Account & Registration

3.1 To create a CarEvents.com account you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal capacity in your jurisdiction) and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

3.2 Users aged 16 to 17 may purchase tickets where permitted by law. However, the contract for any ticket purchase remains between the buyer and the Event Partner.

3.3 If you act for a company or other entity, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.

3.4 You agree not to create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or to use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or legal non-compliance.

3.5 To close your account, email members@carevents.com. Closure will take effect after any active event orders have concluded.

4. Community Conduct & Legal Use

4.1 You agree to use the Service only in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. Harassment, hate speech, illegal promotion, unsafe driving activity, or posting of infringing, obscene, or deceptive material is prohibited.

4.2 We may remove any content or account that violates these Terms or applicable law and may report illegal activity to authorities where appropriate.

5. Event Listings, Organizers & Accuracy

5.1 CarEvents.com promotes and facilitates ticket sales on behalf of independent Event Partners. We are not responsible for the organization or execution of events. All event details, capacities, and ticket allocations are set by the Event Partner.

5.2 Event Partners are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of event information, including dates, times, locations, admission rules, capacity, and any changes. CarEvents.com does not verify all event listings. You are responsible for checking event details and updates before traveling or attending.

5.3 Your ticket purchase constitutes a revocable license. Admission may be refused or revoked in accordance with venue or Event Partner policies.

5.4 We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Event Partners or venues. Event details, start times, or programs may change without notice.

6. Purchase & Transaction Terms

6.1 When you purchase tickets or related items via CarEvents.com, the contract of sale is between you and the Event Partner. CarEvents.com acts as a ticketing facilitator and payment processor or gateway only, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

6.2 Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal (processed by Stripe or the Event Partner’s account). All prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Sales taxes, GST/HST/QST, or local charges may apply.

6.3 Once your order is confirmed, you will receive electronic delivery of your tickets. You are responsible for ensuring access to your email account and verifying order accuracy.

6.4 All sales are final except as provided in our Refund & Exchange Policy or as required by applicable consumer protection law.

6.5 We may cancel or void orders obtained fraudulently or through automated means. Risk of loss transfers upon electronic delivery of tickets.

6.6 Refunds, reschedules, and event cancellations are governed by the Refund & Exchange Policy, including any stated time limits. Ticket processing, booking, or service fees are non-refundable except where prohibited by law or expressly stated otherwise.

7. Event Admission & Venue Rules

7.1 Event admission is subject to the Event Partner’s and venue’s rules. Security searches and restrictions on items, photography, or recording may apply. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.

7.2 By attending events, you consent to photography, filming, and recording for security or promotional use by the Event Partner, the venue, media, or us where applicable. If you object, contact privacy@carevents.com.

7.3 Exposure to loud sound may cause hearing damage. Special effects may trigger photosensitive conditions. Attend at your own discretion.

8. User Interactions

The Service may allow you to communicate with other users, Event Partners, venues, clubs, or third parties. You are solely responsible for your interactions, both online and in person. CarEvents.com does not control, endorse, or guarantee any user, organizer, or attendee conduct. Any meeting, transaction, or attendance is at your own risk.

9. Media, Content & Intellectual Property

9.1 You retain ownership of any photos, videos, or descriptions you upload, but grant CarEvents.com and DriveLife a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, display, distribute, index, and promote such content in connection with your listings and the Service, including in search results, marketing, and social posts, for the life of the listing and a reasonable archival or marketing period thereafter.

9.2 You confirm you have all rights necessary for uploaded content. We may remove infringing or inappropriate material without notice and may restrict accounts for repeat violations.

10. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, post, submit, or publish any content that:

• (a) is unlawful or promotes unlawful activity;
• (b) is hateful, discriminatory, or incites violence;
• (c) is sexually explicit or pornographic;
• (d) is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or impersonates another person or organization;
• (e) infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights;
• (f) contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
• (g) includes personal data of others without a lawful basis or permission; or
• (h) promotes unauthorized commercial activity, advertising, ticket sales, or merchandise sales.

We may remove content and restrict accounts where we reasonably believe content breaches these Terms or applicable law.

11. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, send a notice to privacy@carevents.com including the information required under the DMCA. Verified complaints may result in removal and or account suspension for repeat infringers. Counter-notices may be submitted as permitted by law.

12. AI, Beta Features & Safety

• Some features use DriveLife’s AI systems, for example recommendations or tagging. Outputs may contain inaccuracies and are provided as is. Verify event details directly with Event Partners.
• Beta or experimental features may be enabled from time to time. You agree we may collect anonymized usage data to improve functionality.
• Do not use the DriveLife App while driving. You are solely responsible for road safety and compliance with all traffic laws.
• DriveTags and QR codes link to public profiles but are not tickets or proof of ownership. Do not misuse them on vehicles or property in violation of local laws.
• Optional in-app subscriptions are billed via Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless canceled in your store account settings.

13. Third-Party Services & Integrations

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party sites or services, including ticketing providers, social media, and payment processors. Your use of such third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. CarEvents.com is not responsible for their performance, availability, or practices.

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

14.1 The Service and all tickets are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14.2 We provide listings and promotional content only. We do not endorse or verify any events, organizers, or venues. Attendance is at your own risk.

14.3 In no event are we liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or enjoyment. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) amounts you paid to CarEvents.com in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Attendance at Events is at Your Own Risk

Attendance at events and participation in driving-related activities carry inherent risks, including property damage, personal injury, and death. By choosing to attend an event, you accept and assume all risks that are not caused by our willful misconduct. You are responsible for your own safety, vehicle condition, insurance, and compliance with venue rules and applicable traffic laws. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, terrorism, or governmental restrictions.

17. Region-Specific Terms

United States

• Governing law: Delaware, U.S.A.
• Disputes are subject to individual binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules in Delaware. You waive any right to jury trial or class action. You may still bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible.
• Ticket resale must comply with applicable state or local laws.

Canada

• Governing law: Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
• Mandatory consumer rights cannot be waived. GST/HST/QST may apply based on event location.
• Quebec users are entitled to French-language versions where required by law.

Other Countries

Unless local mandatory law states otherwise, English law applies with non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

18. Notices, Assignment & Enforcement

18.1 Notices take effect when delivered or emailed to your registered address. Keep your contact information current.

18.2 We may assign our rights or obligations under these Terms provided your rights are not materially affected. You may not assign without our consent.

18.3 If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in force. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

19. Updates to These Terms

We may amend these Terms periodically. The Publication Date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Termination and Survival

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the Service, or where required for legal or security reasons. Clauses which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including clauses covering user content licenses, prohibited content, the DMCA process, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, arbitration provisions, and dispute provisions.
